Telescope for Star gazing in the Outback

We have an 8 inch computer controlled telescope at the camp. The night sky is very clear and bright at Kangaluna so you are able to use a large magnification on the telescope to view objects.

Saturn, Jupiter and the moon are the favourites because of their features.

It is a great surprise to find that it is often possible to take a photo of one of these objects with your small digital cameras. The shots on the photo gallery were taken with a small camera through the eye piece.
